Ebony Lovejoy-Jacobs

Physical traits (height, weight, hair and eye colour, scars, distinguishing characteristics)

Ebony is tall and incredibly beautiful. She has long blonde hair, the colour of melted gold. Her eyes are dark, black almost. She is thin but she has womanly curves. They only really appeared once she was pregnant with her daughter Tigerlily. Prominent cheekbones, red, full, pouting lips. Long legs that seem to go on forever, shapely calves.

Basic familial relationships (are they married, have children, no siblings, two mothers?)

Married to Edgar, they met at Acting School. He was a rich boy who rebelled against his parents desire for him to be a lawyer and instead went to the School of Arts. He adores  her, she adores that he adores her, as well as every other man she meets. She resents her daughter. She never wanted to be pregnant, it was an accident. She hated being pregnant, everything it did to her body. She hated giving birth, she has a very low tolerance for pain. She struggled to bond with her baby and has never bonded with her as a child or teenager. Her parents are dead and she fell out with her younger brother shortly after their tragic joint death.

Sunday: what did he/she eat for breakfast today?  Is this usual?  Unusual?  And why?

She never eats breakfast. She chronically starves herself, obsessing over her weight. Occasionally, if she’s really hungry she’ll have some strawberries, normally accompanied by champagne, for breakfast, but she has to be starving.

Monday: what sort of relationship does he/she have with his/her parents?  Are they still alive?  Does he/she see his/her parents?  Why or why not?

Her parents are dead. THey bored her to be honest. She never misses them. She was brought up in a quiet poor northern town. They tried to instil education on her but she just wanted adoration, she wanted to be famous, she wanted to act. Her parents unfailingly supported her but she always felt a little ashamed of them, like they were her poor embarrassing past. She rarely admitted her roots to anyone.

Tuesday: what is your character wearing at this exact moment?  Are these his/her normal clothes or are they wearing something for a special occasion?

A beautiful tight bodycon dress. You would have no idea that she had a child. Her figure is to die for, busty, but tall and slim. The dress is lavender and hugs her every curve. It’s mixture of lace and silk. She is dragging her daughter, unwillingly, to the theatre to see some old college friends. Her blonde hair cascades down her back, accentuating the curve of her back. Her heels are high, gold and display her stunning legs, sleek and muscular.

Wednesday: if your character is old enough to vote, how is she/he voting in the next election?  If your character is too young to vote, how closely do they follow political issues?

She never votes. Her parents tried to teach her the importance but all that seemed rather beneath her. She just wants to be adored, admired, worshipped. She doesn’t care about those who have less than she does, like her brother seemed to, like her parents did. What is the point? If she can have champagne for breakfast, then she damn well will, no matter who sits in charge in No 10 and the Houses of Parliament.

Thursday: where would your character like to go on vacation?  Why?

She is already looking forward to their next trip to their favourite spa in Kerala India. They went two years ago, with Tigerlily in tow but all she did was complain. This time she and Edgar are going alone. Peace, daily facials and massages, massaging each other and yoga with her favourite instructor, bliss.

Friday: describe where your character lives.

Her house in Notting Hill is a Georgian town house. Her bedroom is her boudoir. Edgar had no choice in the decoration. It is all done in deep mauve silk, satin, gauze and brocade. Duck Down duvets and pillows abound on the superking four poster. She bought her daughter a smaller version of their bed, not that she was ever grateful! Tigerlily had the cheek to ask to spend more time with her instead! Well no she would have to make do with the bed.

Saturday: does your character like him/herself?  What are their favourite personal traits?  What do they wish they could change about themselves?

There is nothing she dislikes, other than the scar, the evidence of the gash from which they pulled Tigerlily 15 years ago. How she resents that scar. No more bikinis for her, crushing her dreams as an actress/model. No Hollywood, no bare photo shoots for her. She hated that evidence of her stupid mistake.
